Toddler program 18 to 2 1⁄2

The toddler program at Montessori on the Prairie is designed to allow children to grow and develop at their own pace. The classroom provides the child the opportunity to explore their world in a safe, loving and nurturing environment. In addition to language vocabulary exercises and sensorial exercises, the toddler environment is characterized by the exercises of practical life. Through these exercises, the student learns fine motor skills, gross motor skills, self-control, and grace and courtesy to interact with the other students.
